BJAK is expanding beyond insurance to build an AI-native investing platform covering payments, remittance, and wealth management. As a Technical Product Lead, you will own a specific product vertical, balancing AI innovation with the strict reliability and regulatory demands of financial systems. You will collaborate with engineering, compliance, and design teams to ship trusted, auditable products that handle real money.
What you'll do
- Own product vertical strategy, roadmap, metrics, and delivery end-to-end
- Shape technical design for APIs, data flows, ledgering, and security
- Balance trade-offs between correctness, speed, cost, and regulations
- Integrate KYC, transaction monitoring, and privacy requirements into products
- Apply AI with clear safeguards, evaluation, and human oversight
- Manage external dependencies like regulatory approvals and financial rails
- Align Engineering, Design, Compliance, and Operations on launch goals
What you'll need
- 5+ years of product management experience with complex technical products
- Strong foundation in system architecture, APIs, and distributed systems
- Ability to review and contribute to technical designs with engineers
- Experience in regulated domains like payments, banking, or insurance
- Skill in making trade-offs under technical and regulatory constraints
- Experience building with LLMs or AI, including reliability evaluation
- Strong English communication skills for global team collaboration

- Engineering or highly technical product background
- Experience building zero-to-one fintech or consumer products
- Experience defining evaluation frameworks for ML or LLM products
