KIRA is expanding its financial platform beyond insurance into spending, saving, and investing across Southeast Asia. As a Technical Product Lead, you will own a product vertical, balancing AI innovation with the strict reliability and regulatory requirements of moving real money.
You will collaborate with engineering, compliance, and operations to deliver trusted financial tools. The role demands deep technical understanding of system architecture and experience in regulated fintech domains.
What you'll do
- Own product vertical strategy, metrics, roadmap, and delivery end-to-end
- Shape technical design for APIs, data flows, ledgering, and security
- Drive trade-offs between correctness, speed, cost, and regulatory needs
- Integrate KYC, transaction monitoring, and privacy into product features
- Apply AI with clear evaluation, safeguards, and human oversight
- Manage launches involving regulatory approvals and third-party partners
- Align Engineering, Design, Compliance, and Operations on product decisions
What you'll need
- 5+ years of product management experience with complex technical products
- Strong foundation in system architecture, APIs, and distributed systems
- Ability to review and contribute to technical designs with engineers
- Experience in payments, banking, insurance, trading, or regulated fintech
- Strong judgment for trade-offs under technical and regulatory constraints
- Experience building with LLMs or AI, including reliability evaluation
- Fluent English communication skills for global team collaboration
Nice to have
- Engineering or highly technical product background
- Experience building zero-to-one fintech or consumer products
- Experience defining evaluation frameworks for ML or LLM products
