KIRA is expanding its financial ecosystem beyond insurance into spending, saving, and investing with an AI-native approach. As a Technical Product Lead, you will own a specific product vertical, ensuring reliability and regulatory compliance while leveraging AI where it genuinely adds value. You will collaborate with engineering, design, and compliance teams to deliver trusted financial tools.
What you'll do
- Own product vertical end-to-end including strategy, roadmap, and delivery
- Shape technical design across APIs, data flows, and security with engineers
- Balance trade-offs between correctness, speed, cost, and regulatory needs
- Integrate regulatory requirements like KYC and transaction monitoring
- Apply AI with clear evaluation, safeguards, and human oversight
- Manage external dependencies such as regulatory approvals and partners
- Align cross-functional teams including Engineering, Compliance, and Finance
What you'll need
- 5+ years of product management experience with complex technical products
- Strong technical foundation in system architecture, APIs, and databases
- Experience collaborating closely with engineers on technical designs
- Background in payments, banking, insurance, trading, or regulated domains
- Ability to make difficult trade-offs under technical and regulatory constraints
- Experience building with LLMs or AI products including reliability checks
- Strong English communication skills for global team collaboration
Nice to have
- Engineering or highly technical product background
- Experience building zero-to-one fintech or consumer products
- Experience defining evaluation frameworks for ML or LLM products
