KIRA is expanding its financial ecosystem beyond insurance to include spending, saving, and investing. As a Technical Product Lead, you will own a specific product vertical, ensuring reliability and regulatory compliance while integrating AI where it genuinely adds value. You will collaborate with engineering, design, and compliance teams to ship trusted financial products.
What you'll do
- Own product vertical strategy, metrics, roadmap, and delivery end-to-end
- Shape technical design for APIs, data flows, ledgering, and security
- Balance trade-offs between correctness, speed, cost, and reliability
- Integrate regulatory requirements like KYC and transaction monitoring
- Apply AI with safeguards, human oversight, and clear evaluation metrics
- Manage external dependencies including regulatory approvals and partners
- Align engineering, design, compliance, and operations on product decisions
What you'll need
- 5+ years of product management experience with complex technical products
- Strong technical foundation in system architecture and distributed systems
- Experience collaborating with engineers on technical designs and reviews
- Background in payments, banking, insurance, trading, or regulated domains
- Ability to make difficult trade-offs under regulatory and operational constraints
- Experience building with LLMs or AI, focusing on reliability and evaluation
- Strong English communication skills for global team collaboration
Nice to have
- Engineering or highly technical product background
- Experience building zero-to-one fintech or consumer products
- Experience defining evaluation frameworks for ML or LLM products
