BJAK is expanding from its leading insurance platform into a comprehensive AI Neobank Superapp covering payments, remittance, wealth, and trading. This role requires owning a product vertical from strategy to launch, ensuring reliability and regulatory compliance while leveraging AI where it genuinely improves outcomes.
You will collaborate with engineering, compliance, and operations to build trusted financial products that handle real money. The team values deterministic control over hype, focusing on auditable systems and clear user value in a distributed, international environment.
What you'll do
- Own product vertical end-to-end including strategy, roadmap, and delivery
- Shape technical design across APIs, data flows, ledgering, and security
- Drive trade-offs between correctness, speed, cost, and regulatory needs
- Integrate KYC, transaction monitoring, and privacy requirements into product
- Apply AI with safeguards, human oversight, and clear evaluation metrics
- Manage external dependencies like regulatory approvals and financial rails
- Align engineering, design, compliance, and finance teams on launch goals
What you'll need
- 5+ years product management experience with complex technical products
- Strong foundation in system architecture, APIs, and distributed systems
- Experience collaborating with engineers on technical design reviews
- Background in payments, banking, insurance, or regulated fintech domains
- Ability to make trade-offs under technical and regulatory constraints
- Experience building with LLMs or AI, knowing when not to use them
- Strong English communication skills for global team collaboration

- Engineering or highly technical product background
- Experience building zero-to-one fintech or consumer products
- Experience defining evaluation frameworks for ML or LLM products
