You will lead a product vertical for BJAK's AI-native neobank, covering payments, remittance, insurance, wealth, and trading. This position requires balancing technical design, regulatory compliance, and AI integration to build reliable financial products.
The role demands close collaboration with engineering, compliance, and operations to ensure correctness, security, and scalability. You will define the roadmap and drive delivery while managing complex trade-offs between speed, cost, and reliability.
What you'll do
- Own product vertical end-to-end including strategy, metrics, and roadmap
- Shape technical design across APIs, data flows, ledgering, and security
- Drive trade-offs between correctness, speed, cost, and regulatory needs
- Integrate regulatory requirements like KYC, monitoring, and privacy
- Apply AI with clear evaluation, safeguards, and human oversight
- Manage external dependencies such as regulatory approvals and partners
- Align Engineering, Design, Compliance, and Operations on product decisions
What you'll need
- 5+ years of product management experience with complex technical products
- Strong foundation in system architecture, APIs, databases, and distributed systems
- Experience collaborating with engineers on technical designs
- Background in payments, banking, remittance, insurance, or trading
- Ability to make trade-offs under technical and regulatory constraints
- Experience building with LLMs or AI products including reliability checks
- Strong English communication skills for global team collaboration
Nice to have
- Engineering or highly technical product background
- Experience building zero-to-one fintech or consumer products
- Experience defining evaluation frameworks for ML or LLM products
