You will own a product vertical within BJAK's AI Neobank Superapp, covering payments, remittance, insurance, wealth, and trading. This role demands balancing AI innovation with the strict reliability, regulatory compliance, and security standards required for moving real money.
Working with global teams, you will define strategy, shape technical architecture, and align engineering, compliance, and operations to deliver trusted financial products. The focus is on building systems that are auditable, safe, and genuinely improved by AI where appropriate.
What you'll do
- Own product vertical end-to-end including strategy, roadmap, and delivery
- Shape technical design for APIs, data flows, ledgering, and security
- Drive trade-offs between correctness, speed, cost, and reliability
- Integrate regulatory requirements like KYC and transaction monitoring
- Apply AI with clear evaluation, safeguards, and human oversight
- Manage external dependencies such as regulatory approvals and partners
- Align Engineering, Design, Compliance, and Operations on product decisions
What you'll need
- 5+ years of product management experience with complex technical products
- Strong foundation in system architecture, APIs, and distributed systems
- Experience collaborating with engineers on technical designs
- Background in payments, banking, insurance, or regulated fintech
- Ability to make trade-offs under technical and regulatory constraints
- Experience building with LLMs or AI products including reliability checks
- Strong English communication skills for global team collaboration
Nice to have
- Engineering or highly technical product background
- Experience building zero-to-one fintech or consumer products
- Experience defining evaluation frameworks for ML or LLM products
