BJAK is expanding from its leading insurance platform into a comprehensive AI Neobank Superapp covering payments, remittance, wealth, and trading. This role requires owning a product vertical from strategy to launch, ensuring reliability and regulatory compliance while leveraging AI where it genuinely improves outcomes.
You will collaborate with engineering, compliance, and operations to build trusted financial products that handle real money. The team values deterministic control over hype, focusing on auditable and secure systems in a distributed global environment.
What you'll do
- Own product vertical strategy, metrics, roadmap, and delivery end-to-end
- Shape technical design for APIs, data flows, ledgering, and security
- Balance trade-offs between correctness, speed, cost, and regulations
- Integrate KYC, transaction monitoring, and privacy requirements
- Apply AI with safeguards, human oversight, and clear evaluation
- Manage external dependencies like regulatory approvals and partners
- Align engineering, design, compliance, and finance teams
What you'll need
- 5+ years product management experience with complex technical products
- Strong foundation in system architecture, APIs, and distributed systems
- Experience collaborating with engineers on technical designs
- Background in payments, banking, insurance, or regulated fintech
- Ability to make trade-offs under regulatory and operational constraints
- Experience building with LLMs or AI, including reliability checks
- Strong English communication skills for global collaboration
Nice to have
- Engineering or highly technical product background
- Experience building zero-to-one fintech or consumer products
- Experience defining evaluation frameworks for ML or LLM products
