BJAK is expanding beyond insurance to build an AI-native stockbroking superapp covering payments, wealth, and trading. This role owns a product vertical from strategy to launch, ensuring reliability and regulatory adherence in high-consequence financial products.
You will collaborate with engineering, compliance, and operations to integrate AI where it adds value while maintaining deterministic controls for money movement. The team operates globally with a focus on building trusted, auditable financial applications.
What you'll do
- Own product vertical strategy, roadmap, priorities, and delivery end-to-end
- Shape technical design for APIs, data flows, ledgering, and security
- Balance trade-offs between correctness, speed, cost, and regulatory needs
- Integrate KYC, transaction monitoring, and privacy requirements into product
- Apply AI with safeguards, human oversight, and clear evaluation metrics
- Manage external dependencies like regulatory approvals and financial rails
- Align engineering, design, compliance, and finance teams on launch goals
What you'll need
- 5+ years of product management experience with complex technical products
- Strong foundation in system architecture, APIs, databases, and distributed systems
- Ability to review, challenge, and contribute to technical designs with engineers
- Experience in regulated domains like payments, banking, insurance, or trading
- Proven judgment in making trade-offs under technical and regulatory constraints
- Experience building with LLMs or AI, including reliability and evaluation
- Strong English communication skills for global team collaboration

- Engineering or highly technical product background
- Experience building zero-to-one fintech or consumer products
- Experience defining evaluation frameworks for ML or LLM products
