You will manage a product vertical end-to-end, from strategy and roadmap to technical system design. The role requires balancing user experience with strict regulatory compliance, security, and financial correctness in a high-consequence environment.
Working with engineering, compliance, and operations teams, you will ensure reliable money movement and integrate AI features where they add genuine value. The position demands strong technical judgment to handle complex system boundaries and third-party dependencies.
What you'll do
- Own product vertical outcomes, metrics, and prioritized backlog
- Define acceptance criteria for building and testing features
- Collaborate with engineering on system boundaries and data consistency
- Ensure correctness in money movement, ledgering, and reconciliation
- Manage failure paths, retry logic, and refund processes
- Treat licensing, KYC, and privacy constraints as core product inputs
- Define AI decision boundaries and human-in-the-loop requirements
- Coordinate launch timing with partner and regulatory gates
What you'll need
- Significant experience owning complex technical products end-to-end
- Strong judgment and decisiveness in ambiguous situations
- Solid understanding of system design, APIs, and datastores
- Ability to review and challenge technical design documents
- Experience in regulated domains like payments or banking
- Understanding of financial correctness over convenience
- Hands-on experience with LLM-based products and evaluation
- Strong English communication skills for global teams
Nice to have
- Background as an engineer or highly technical PM
- Experience building zero-to-one products
- History of shipping AI-heavy consumer applications
- Defined evaluation metrics for ML or LLM systems
- Experience in the Southeast Asia market
