You will drive the strategy, roadmap, and technical delivery for key financial products such as payments, remittance, or insurance. The role requires balancing user experience with strict correctness, security, and compliance standards in a regulated environment.
Working closely with engineering and compliance teams, you will define system boundaries and ensure reliable money movement. The team leverages AI where it adds value while maintaining deterministic controls for critical financial operations.
What you'll do
- Own product verticals end-to-end from strategy to technical delivery
- Define acceptance criteria and prioritize backlog by value and risk
- Collaborate with engineering on system design and data consistency
- Ensure correctness in money movement, ledgering, and reconciliation
- Integrate regulatory constraints like KYC and sanctions screening
- Apply AI features with clear evaluation metrics and human oversight
- Coordinate with compliance, operations, and finance teams for launch
What you'll need
- Significant experience owning complex technical products end-to-end
- Strong system design knowledge including APIs and failure modes
- Ability to read and challenge technical design documents
- Experience in regulated domains like payments or banking
- Understanding of money movement correctness and irreversible states
- Hands-on experience with LLM-based products and evaluation frameworks
- Strong English communication skills for global team collaboration
Nice to have
- Background as an engineer or highly technical product manager
- Experience shipping zero-to-one AI-heavy consumer products
- Defined evaluation metrics for machine learning systems
- Prior experience in the Southeast Asia market
