You will manage a product vertical end-to-end, from strategy and roadmap to technical system design. The work focuses on high-consequence areas such as payments, remittance, and wealth management, where correctness and compliance are critical. You will collaborate with engineering, compliance, and operations to build reliable, auditable financial products.
What you'll do
- Own a product vertical end-to-end including strategy, metrics, and backlog prioritization
- Collaborate with engineering on system boundaries, ledgering, and failure paths
- Make trade-offs between correctness, speed, cost, reliability, and user experience
- Treat regulatory constraints like KYC and data residency as core product inputs
- Define AI usage limits, evaluation methods, and human-in-the-loop requirements
- Coordinate with partners and regulators to clear gates for feature launches
- Align engineering, design, compliance, and operations teams to reduce friction
What you'll need
- Significant experience owning complex technical products end-to-end
- Strong system design skills including APIs, datastores, and concurrency
- Ability to read, review, and challenge technical design documents
- Experience in regulated domains like payments, banking, or insurance
- Hands-on experience with LLM-based products and evaluation metrics
- Understanding of money movement constraints such as idempotency and reconciliation
- Strong English communication skills for global team collaboration
Nice to have
- Background as an engineer or highly technical product manager
- Experience building zero-to-one consumer products
- Track record of shipping AI-heavy products
- Defined evaluation metrics for ML or LLM systems
- Experience in the Southeast Asia market
