You will drive strategy, roadmap, and technical delivery for critical financial products such as payments, remittance, or insurance. The role requires balancing speed with strict correctness, ensuring systems are reliable, auditable, and compliant with local regulations.
Working closely with engineering and compliance teams, you will define system boundaries and integrate AI where it adds genuine value. You must navigate complex constraints like licensing and third-party rails while maintaining high standards for money movement accuracy.
What you'll do
- Own product verticals end-to-end from strategy to technical delivery
- Define acceptance criteria and prioritize backlog by value and risk
- Collaborate with engineering on system design and data consistency
- Ensure money-movement correctness including idempotency and ledgering
- Integrate regulated constraints like KYC and sanctions screening into product
- Determine appropriate use cases for AI with human-in-the-loop safeguards
- Coordinate with Compliance, Operations, and Finance to clear launch gates
What you'll need
- Significant experience owning complex technical products end-to-end
- Strong system design knowledge including APIs, queues, and failure modes
- Ability to read and challenge technical design documents
- Experience in regulated domains like payments, banking, or insurance
- Hands-on experience with LLM-based products and evaluation metrics
- Strong English communication skills for global team collaboration
- Must be currently based in Thailand
Nice to have
- Background as an engineer or highly technical PM
- Experience shipping zero-to-one AI-heavy consumer products
- Defined evaluation metrics for ML or LLM systems
- Prior experience in the Southeast Asia market
