You will own a product vertical end-to-end, from strategy and roadmap to technical system design. The role requires balancing user experience with strict regulatory compliance and technical correctness in a high-stakes financial environment. You will collaborate closely with engineering, compliance, and operations teams to ship reliable, AI-enhanced features.
What you'll do
- Own a product vertical end-to-end including strategy, metrics, and backlog prioritization
- Collaborate with engineering on system boundaries, ledgering, and failure handling
- Make trade-offs between correctness, speed, cost, reliability, and user experience
- Treat regulatory constraints like KYC and data residency as core product inputs
- Define safe and auditable applications of AI within financial products
- Coordinate launches with external partners and regulatory gates
- Align engineering, design, compliance, and operations teams
What you'll need
- Significant experience owning complex technical products end-to-end
- Strong system design knowledge including APIs, datastores, and concurrency
- Experience in regulated domains such as payments, banking, or insurance
- Hands-on experience with LLM-based products and evaluation metrics
- Ability to read and challenge technical design documents
- Strong English communication skills for global team collaboration
- Judgement to balance ambition with technical and regulatory reality
Nice to have
- Background as an engineer or highly technical product manager
- Experience building zero-to-one consumer products
- History of shipping AI-heavy products
- Experience in the Southeast Asia market
