You will own a product vertical within BJAK's AI Finance Superapp, covering areas like payments, insurance, and wealth. The position requires balancing AI innovation with the strict reliability and regulatory standards necessary for handling real money.
What you'll do
- Own product vertical strategy, roadmap, metrics, and delivery end-to-end
- Collaborate with engineering on APIs, data flows, ledgering, and security
- Balance trade-offs between speed, cost, reliability, and compliance
- Integrate regulatory requirements like KYC and transaction monitoring
- Apply AI with safeguards, human oversight, and clear evaluation methods
- Manage external dependencies including regulatory approvals and partners
- Align cross-functional teams including Compliance, Ops, and Finance
What you'll need
- 5+ years of product management experience with complex technical products
- Strong technical foundation in architecture, APIs, and distributed systems
- Experience collaborating closely with engineers on technical designs
- Background in regulated domains like payments, banking, or insurance
- Ability to make difficult trade-offs under regulatory constraints
- Experience building with LLMs or AI, knowing when not to use them
- Strong English communication skills for global collaboration
Nice to have
- Engineering or highly technical product background
- Experience building zero-to-one fintech or consumer products
- Experience defining evaluation frameworks for ML or LLM products
