KIRA is expanding its leading insurance platform into a comprehensive finance superapp covering payments, remittance, wealth, and trading. As a Technical Product Manager, you will drive product strategy and technical design for high-consequence financial products where reliability and regulatory compliance are paramount.
You will collaborate with engineering, compliance, and operations to build trusted, auditable systems. The role requires balancing AI innovation with deterministic controls to ensure user funds are always correct and secure.
What you'll do
- Own product vertical strategy, roadmap, metrics, and delivery end-to-end
- Shape technical design for APIs, data flows, ledgering, and security
- Balance trade-offs between correctness, speed, cost, and regulations
- Integrate KYC, transaction monitoring, and privacy requirements
- Apply AI with safeguards, human oversight, and clear evaluation
- Manage external dependencies like regulatory approvals and partners
- Align engineering, design, compliance, and operations teams
What you'll need
- 5+ years of product management experience with complex technical products
- Strong foundation in system architecture, APIs, and distributed systems
- Ability to review and contribute to technical designs with engineers
- Experience in payments, banking, insurance, or regulated fintech
- Skill in making trade-offs under technical and regulatory constraints
- Experience building with LLMs or AI, including reliability assessment
- Strong English communication skills for global collaboration
Nice to have
- Engineering or highly technical product background
- Experience building zero-to-one fintech or consumer products
- Experience defining evaluation frameworks for ML or LLM products
