KIRA is expanding its financial services platform across Southeast Asia, integrating payments, insurance, wealth management, and trading. As a Technical Product Manager, you will own a specific product vertical, ensuring reliability and regulatory compliance while leveraging AI where it adds genuine value.
You will collaborate with engineering, design, and compliance teams to deliver secure, auditable, and trusted financial products. The role demands a balance of technical depth, product judgment, and the ability to navigate complex regulatory landscapes.
What you'll do
- Own product vertical strategy, roadmap, metrics, and delivery end-to-end
- Shape technical design regarding APIs, data flows, ledgering, and security
- Balance trade-offs between correctness, speed, cost, and regulatory needs
- Integrate KYC, transaction monitoring, and privacy requirements into products
- Apply AI with clear evaluation, safeguards, and human oversight protocols
- Manage external dependencies like regulatory approvals and financial rails
- Align engineering, compliance, and operations teams on product decisions
What you'll need
- 5+ years of product management experience with complex technical products
- Strong foundation in system architecture, APIs, databases, and distributed systems
- Ability to review, challenge, and contribute to technical designs with engineers
- Experience in regulated domains like payments, banking, or insurance
- Proven judgment in making trade-offs under technical and regulatory constraints
- Experience building with LLMs or AI, including reliability and evaluation methods
- Strong English communication skills for global team collaboration
Nice to have
- Engineering background or highly technical product experience
- Experience building zero-to-one fintech or consumer products
- Experience defining evaluation frameworks for ML or LLM-powered products
