KIRA is expanding its leading insurance platform into a comprehensive finance superapp covering payments, remittance, wealth, and trading. As a Technical Product Manager, you will drive strategy and delivery for products that handle real money, ensuring reliability and trust.
You will collaborate with engineering and compliance teams to integrate AI where it adds value while maintaining deterministic controls for financial accuracy. The role demands strong technical judgment to navigate complex regulatory landscapes and third-party dependencies.
What you'll do
- Own product vertical strategy, roadmap, priorities and delivery end-to-end
- Shape technical design for APIs, data flows, ledgering and security
- Balance trade-offs between correctness, speed, cost and regulatory needs
- Integrate KYC, transaction monitoring and privacy requirements into product
- Apply AI with clear evaluation, safeguards and human oversight mechanisms
- Manage launches involving regulatory approvals and third-party financial rails
- Align Engineering, Design, Compliance and Operations on product decisions
What you'll need
- 5+ years of product management experience with complex technical products
- Strong foundation in system architecture, APIs, databases and distributed systems
- Ability to review, challenge and contribute to technical designs with engineers
- Experience in payments, banking, insurance, trading or regulated fintech domains
- Proven judgment in making trade-offs under technical and regulatory constraints
- Experience building with LLMs or AI, including reliability and evaluation methods
- Strong English communication skills for global team collaboration
Nice to have
- Engineering degree or highly technical product background
- Experience building zero-to-one fintech or consumer products
- Background defining evaluation frameworks for ML or LLM products
