You will own a product vertical within BJAK's AI Investing Superapp, managing strategy, metrics, and delivery. The role requires shaping technical designs with engineering teams while ensuring reliability, regulatory compliance, and trust in financial transactions.
The team builds products that move real money across payments, remittance, insurance, and trading. You must balance AI innovation with deterministic systems, ensuring features are auditable and safe for users in a regulated environment.
What you'll do
- Own product vertical end-to-end including strategy, roadmap, and delivery
- Shape technical design across APIs, data flows, and security with engineers
- Drive trade-offs between correctness, speed, cost, and regulatory needs
- Integrate KYC, transaction monitoring, and privacy requirements into products
- Apply AI with clear evaluation, safeguards, and human oversight mechanisms
- Manage launches involving regulatory approvals and third-party financial rails
- Align Engineering, Compliance, Operations, and Finance on product decisions
What you'll need
- 5+ years of product management experience with complex technical products
- Strong foundation in system architecture, APIs, databases, and distributed systems
- Experience collaborating with engineers to review and challenge technical designs
- Background in payments, banking, insurance, trading, or regulated domains
- Ability to make difficult trade-offs under technical and regulatory constraints
- Experience building with LLMs or AI, including reliability and evaluation methods
- Strong English communication skills for global team collaboration
Nice to have
- Engineering or highly technical product background
- Experience building zero-to-one fintech or consumer products
- Experience defining evaluation frameworks for ML or LLM-powered products
