BJAK is expanding its leading insurance platform into a comprehensive financial superapp covering payments, remittance, wealth, and trading. This role focuses on building reliable, regulated AI-native products that handle real money and complex financial rails.
You will own a product vertical from strategy to launch, ensuring technical robustness and regulatory compliance. The team values deterministic control where necessary and applies AI only where it genuinely improves outcomes.
What you'll do
- Own product vertical end-to-end including strategy, roadmap, and delivery
- Shape technical design with engineering teams on APIs and data flows
- Drive trade-offs across correctness, speed, cost, and reliability
- Integrate regulatory requirements like KYC and transaction monitoring
- Apply AI with clear evaluation, safeguards, and human oversight
- Manage external dependencies such as regulatory approvals and partners
- Align Engineering, Design, Compliance, and Operations on product decisions
What you'll need
- 5+ years of product management experience with complex technical products
- Strong foundation in system architecture, APIs, and distributed systems
- Experience collaborating closely with engineers on technical designs
- Background in payments, banking, insurance, or regulated fintech domains
- Ability to make trade-offs under technical and regulatory constraints
- Experience building with LLMs or AI products including reliability checks
- Strong English communication skills for global team collaboration

- Engineering or highly technical product background
- Experience building zero-to-one fintech or consumer products
- Experience defining evaluation frameworks for ML or LLM products
