KIRA is expanding its financial platform beyond insurance into spending, saving, and investing. As a Technical Product Manager, you will drive the development of an AI-native investing superapp, ensuring reliability and regulatory compliance while leveraging AI to improve user outcomes.
You will own a product vertical completely, collaborating with engineering, design, and compliance teams to deliver secure and trusted financial tools. The position requires balancing technical constraints with business goals in a high-stakes environment.
What you'll do
- Own product vertical strategy, roadmap, priorities, and delivery end-to-end
- Shape technical design regarding APIs, data flows, ledgering, and security
- Drive trade-offs between correctness, speed, cost, and regulatory needs
- Integrate regulatory requirements like KYC and transaction monitoring
- Apply AI with clear evaluation, safeguards, and human oversight
- Manage external dependencies including regulatory approvals and partners
- Align engineering, design, compliance, and operations on product decisions
What you'll need
- 5+ years of product management experience with complex technical products
- Strong technical foundation in system architecture, APIs, and databases
- Experience working closely with engineers on technical designs
- Background in payments, banking, insurance, trading, or regulated domains
- Ability to make difficult trade-offs under technical and regulatory constraints
- Experience building with LLMs or AI products, including reliability checks

- Engineering or highly technical product background
- Experience building zero-to-one fintech or consumer products
- Experience defining evaluation frameworks for ML or LLM products
