KIRA is expanding its financial services in Asia, focusing on spending, saving, and investing through AI-enabled tools. As a Technical Product Manager, you will define product strategy, manage backlogs, and collaborate with engineering to build reliable money-movement systems. You will balance technical constraints, regulatory requirements, and user experience to deliver trusted financial products.
What you'll do
- Own product verticals including outcomes, metrics, and prioritized backlogs
- Collaborate with engineering on system boundaries and money-movement correctness
- Make trade-offs across correctness, speed, cost, reliability, and UX
- Treat regulated constraints like KYC and data residency as primary inputs
- Define AI decision boundaries, evaluation methods, and human-in-the-loop protocols
- Coordinate feature releases with partner and regulatory approval gates
- Work cross-functionally with Engineering, Design, Compliance, and Operations
What you'll need
- Significant experience owning complex technical products end-to-end
- Strong system design knowledge including APIs, datastores, and failure modes
- Ability to read, review, and challenge technical design documents
- Experience in regulated domains such as payments, banking, or insurance
- Hands-on experience with LLM-based products and evaluation frameworks
- Strong English communication skills for global team collaboration
Nice to have
- Background as an engineer or highly technical PM
- Experience shipping zero-to-one AI-heavy consumer products
- Defined evaluation metrics for ML or LLM systems
- Intuition for AI UX and failure handling
- Experience in the Southeast Asia market
