KIRA is expanding its financial ecosystem beyond insurance to include spending, saving, and investing tools powered by AI. As a Technical Product Manager, you will own a specific product vertical, ensuring reliability and regulatory compliance while integrating AI where it genuinely adds value. You will collaborate with engineering, design, and compliance teams to ship trusted financial products.
What you'll do
- Own product vertical end-to-end including strategy, roadmap, and delivery
- Shape technical design covering APIs, data flows, ledgering, and security
- Drive trade-offs between correctness, speed, cost, and regulatory needs
- Integrate regulatory requirements like KYC, monitoring, and privacy into product
- Apply AI with clear evaluation, safeguards, and human oversight mechanisms
- Manage external dependencies such as regulatory approvals and financial rails
- Align engineering, design, compliance, and operations on product decisions
What you'll need
- 5+ years of product management experience with complex technical products
- Strong technical foundation in system architecture, APIs, and distributed systems
- Experience collaborating closely with engineers on technical designs
- Background in payments, banking, insurance, trading, or regulated domains
- Ability to make difficult trade-offs under technical and regulatory constraints
- Experience building with LLMs or AI products including reliability evaluation
- Strong English communication skills for global team collaboration
Nice to have
- Engineering or highly technical product background
- Experience building zero-to-one fintech or consumer products
- Experience defining evaluation frameworks for ML or LLM products
