BJAK is expanding beyond insurance to build an AI Neobank Superapp covering payments, remittance, wealth, and trading. This role requires owning a product vertical from strategy to launch, ensuring reliability and regulatory compliance while leveraging AI where it genuinely improves outcomes.
You will collaborate with engineering, design, and compliance teams to ship products that handle real money securely. The focus is on building trusted, auditable systems that navigate complex financial rails and third-party dependencies.
What you'll do
- Own product vertical strategy, metrics, roadmap, and delivery end-to-end
- Shape technical design for APIs, data flows, ledgering, and security
- Balance trade-offs between correctness, speed, cost, and reliability
- Integrate regulatory requirements like KYC and transaction monitoring
- Apply AI with clear evaluation, safeguards, and human oversight
- Manage external dependencies including regulatory approvals and partners
- Align engineering, compliance, and operations on product decisions
What you'll need
- 5+ years of product management experience with complex technical products
- Strong foundation in system architecture, APIs, and distributed systems
- Ability to review and contribute to technical designs with engineers
- Experience in payments, banking, insurance, or regulated fintech domains
- Strong judgment for trade-offs under technical and regulatory constraints
- Experience building with LLMs or AI, including reliability evaluation
- Fluent English communication skills for global team collaboration
Nice to have
- Engineering or highly technical product background
- Experience building zero-to-one fintech or consumer products
- Experience defining evaluation frameworks for ML or LLM products
