BJAK is expanding beyond insurance to build an AI-native Neobank Superapp covering payments, remittance, wealth, and trading. As a Technical Product Manager, you will own a product vertical, ensuring reliability and regulatory compliance while leveraging AI where it genuinely improves outcomes.
You will collaborate with engineering, design, and compliance teams to ship trusted financial products. The role demands strong technical judgment to balance correctness, speed, and user experience in a high-consequence domain.
What you'll do
- Own product vertical strategy, metrics, roadmap, and delivery end-to-end
- Shape technical design across APIs, data flows, ledgering, and security
- Drive trade-offs between correctness, speed, cost, and regulatory needs
- Integrate KYC, transaction monitoring, and privacy requirements into products
- Apply AI with clear evaluation, safeguards, and human oversight
- Manage external dependencies like regulatory approvals and financial rails
- Align Engineering, Design, Compliance, and Operations on launch goals
What you'll need
- 5+ years of product management experience with complex technical products
- Strong foundation in system architecture, APIs, databases, and distributed systems
- Experience collaborating with engineers on technical designs and reviews
- Background in payments, banking, remittance, insurance, or trading
- Ability to make difficult trade-offs under technical and regulatory constraints
- Experience building with LLMs or AI, including reliability and evaluation
- Strong English communication skills for global team collaboration

- Engineering or highly technical product background
- Experience building zero-to-one fintech or consumer products
- Experience defining evaluation frameworks for ML or LLM products
