BJAK is expanding beyond insurance to build an AI Neobank Superapp covering payments, remittance, wealth, and trading. This role involves owning a product vertical from strategy to launch, ensuring reliability and regulatory compliance while leveraging AI where it adds genuine value.
You will collaborate with engineering, design, and compliance teams to ship products that handle real money securely. The focus is on building trusted, auditable systems that improve financial outcomes for users across the region.
What you'll do
- Own product vertical strategy, roadmap, priorities, and delivery end-to-end
- Shape technical design for APIs, data flows, ledgering, and security
- Drive trade-offs between correctness, speed, cost, and regulatory needs
- Integrate KYC, transaction monitoring, and privacy requirements into products
- Apply AI with clear evaluation, safeguards, and human oversight
- Manage external dependencies like regulatory approvals and financial rails
- Align engineering, compliance, and operations on product decisions
What you'll need
- 5+ years of product management experience with complex technical products
- Strong foundation in system architecture, APIs, and distributed systems
- Experience collaborating with engineers on technical designs
- Background in payments, banking, insurance, or regulated fintech domains
- Ability to make trade-offs under technical and regulatory constraints
- Experience building with LLMs or AI, including reliability evaluation
- Strong English communication skills for global collaboration
Nice to have
- Engineering or highly technical product background
- Experience building zero-to-one fintech or consumer products
- Experience defining evaluation frameworks for ML or LLM products
