You will own a product vertical within BJAK's AI Neobank Superapp, covering payments, remittance, insurance, wealth, and trading. This position requires balancing AI innovation with the strict reliability and regulatory standards necessary for handling real money.
The role demands close collaboration with engineering, compliance, and operations to ensure products are auditable, trusted, and technically sound. You will drive decisions on system architecture, data flows, and regulatory integration while defining where AI adds genuine value.
What you'll do
- Own product vertical strategy, metrics, roadmap, and delivery end-to-end
- Shape technical design for APIs, data flows, ledgering, and security
- Balance trade-offs between correctness, speed, cost, and reliability
- Integrate regulatory requirements like KYC and transaction monitoring
- Apply AI with safeguards, human oversight, and clear evaluation metrics
- Manage external dependencies including regulatory approvals and partners
- Align engineering, design, compliance, and finance teams on launch goals
What you'll need
- 5+ years of product management experience with complex technical products
- Strong foundation in system architecture, APIs, and distributed systems
- Ability to review and contribute to technical designs with engineers
- Experience in regulated domains like payments, banking, or insurance
- Judgment to make trade-offs under technical and regulatory constraints
- Experience building with LLMs or AI, focusing on reliability and limits
- Strong English communication skills for global team collaboration
