BJAK is expanding beyond insurance to build an AI-native stockbroking superapp for Southeast Asia, covering payments, wealth, and trading. As a Technical Product Manager, you will own a product vertical from strategy to launch, ensuring reliability and regulatory adherence while leveraging AI where it adds genuine value.
What you'll do
- Own product vertical strategy, roadmap, priorities, and delivery end-to-end
- Collaborate with engineering on APIs, data flows, ledgering, and security
- Balance trade-offs between correctness, speed, cost, and regulatory needs
- Integrate KYC, transaction monitoring, and privacy requirements into products
- Apply AI with safeguards, human oversight, and clear evaluation metrics
- Manage external dependencies like regulatory approvals and financial rails
- Align cross-functional teams including Compliance, Operations, and Finance
What you'll need
- 5+ years of product management experience with complex technical products
- Strong technical foundation in system architecture, APIs, and distributed systems
- Experience collaborating closely with engineers on technical designs
- Background in regulated domains like payments, banking, or trading
- Ability to make difficult trade-offs under technical and regulatory constraints
- Experience building with LLMs or AI, including reliability assessment
- Strong English communication skills for global team collaboration

- Engineering or highly technical product background
- Experience building zero-to-one fintech or consumer products
- Experience defining evaluation frameworks for ML or LLM products
