You will own a product vertical for BJAK's AI Stockbroking Superapp, covering payments, remittance, insurance, wealth, and trading. The role requires balancing AI innovation with the reliability and regulatory strictness inherent in moving real money.
Working with engineering, compliance, and operations, you will define strategy, shape technical architecture, and ensure products are auditable and trusted. You must determine where AI adds value while keeping deterministic systems in control for critical financial functions.
What you'll do
- Own product vertical end-to-end including strategy, roadmap, and delivery
- Shape technical design for APIs, data flows, ledgering, and security
- Drive trade-offs between correctness, speed, cost, and reliability
- Integrate regulatory requirements like KYC and transaction monitoring
- Apply AI with clear evaluation, safeguards, and human oversight
- Manage external dependencies such as regulatory approvals and partners
- Align engineering, design, compliance, and finance teams on decisions
What you'll need
- 5+ years of product management experience with complex technical products
- Strong foundation in system architecture, APIs, and distributed systems
- Experience collaborating closely with engineers on technical designs
- Background in payments, banking, trading, or regulated fintech domains
- Ability to make trade-offs under technical and regulatory constraints
- Experience building with LLMs or AI products including reliability checks
- Strong English communication skills for global team collaboration
Nice to have
- Engineering or highly technical product background
- Experience building zero-to-one fintech or consumer products
- Experience defining evaluation frameworks for ML or LLM products
