Join Cohere’s customer-facing Engineering Program Management team to drive the delivery of frontier AI models and end-to-end products. You will serve as the technical voice for strategic customers, collaborating with Applied ML, Forward Deployed Engineering, Platform, Product, and Go-to-Market teams.
This position requires an experienced leader who can break down complex issues, manage risks, and ensure on-time delivery of enterprise-grade software solutions. You will shape operations and contribute to the widespread adoption of AI by working directly with clients and internal stakeholders.
What you'll do
- Provide clear communication across tech teams, leadership, and strategic customers
- Break down complex issues into strategies to drive engineering alignment
- Create and manage program schedules, identifying dependencies and risks
- Ensure on-time delivery and establish checkpoints for status updates
- Proactively identify and resolve cross-functional issues and priorities
What you'll need
- At least 5 years of experience as an Engineering or Technical Program Manager
- Minimum 2 years in customer-facing technical delivery for enterprise AI
- Experience shipping technical products to internal or external customers
- Ability to independently track and report across multiple work-streams
- Strong organizational skills with a bias for action and execution
- Comfortable holding leaders and contributors accountable diplomatically
Nice to have
- Knowledge or experience with LLM training or optimization
