You will lead the implementation of cloud-first data solutions that support Finance priorities while aligning with enterprise architecture. The role requires translating business strategy into technical designs, ensuring data governance, and managing the full lifecycle from design to operationalization.
What you'll do
- Translate business requirements into scalable, governed data models and transformations
- Lead implementation of data foundation capabilities including quality and metadata
- Contribute to Databricks development such as table builds and optimization
- Partner with teams to define and monitor data quality controls for finance assets
- Prepare executive-ready presentations and strategic recommendations for leadership
- Execute rapid prototyping, UAT testing, and post-production validation
- Support metadata management practices including lineage documentation and cataloging
What you'll need
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Analytics, or Finance
- Five or more years of experience in financial systems or data solutions
- Two or more years developing data solutions on Databricks or similar platforms
- Two or more years of project leadership experience
- Strong understanding of data governance principles and frameworks
- Intermediate to expert level SQL expertise
- Ability to work within Eastern or Central Standard Time zones
Nice to have
- Master's Degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field
- Data related certifications on Databricks or major cloud platforms
- Experience with tools such as BigEye, Reltio, Collibra, or EDC
- Background supporting healthcare-related data initiatives
- Experience influencing data governance operating models or committees
