You will serve as the primary technical partner at assigned school sites, ensuring seamless systems for educators and students. Responsibilities include delivering responsive support, maintaining site infrastructure, and managing IT inventory to enhance learning environments.
What you'll do
- Provide rapid technical support for hardware, software, and systems at school sites
- Install, configure, and repair laptops, AV equipment, printers, and projectors
- Manage user accounts and permissions in Google Workspace and VMware
- Maintain accurate records and tracking for all site hardware inventory
- Troubleshoot network connectivity issues in collaboration with central teams
- Support staff with emerging AI tools like Gemini Pro and workflow automation
- Deliver technology setup and live support for special school events
What you'll need
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent practical experience
- 1-4 years of experience in tier-1/tier-2 IT support and helpdesk management
- Proficiency with Google Workspace administration and Windows OS
- Experience with ChromeOS, Zoom, and basic networking concepts
- Ability to regularly travel across assigned school sites
- Physical ability to lift and carry up to 35 lbs of equipment
- Must pass background, criminal history, and health clearance checks
Nice to have
- Interest in coaching others and exploring emerging tools like AI
- Experience building automated workflows using Google Apps Script
