Lead a company-wide data initiative to turn foundational technologies into a trusted operating picture for the business. You will define metrics, govern data products, and enable faster decision-making across all functions.
Reporting to the CTO, you will balance strategic vision with technical execution, ensuring data quality and adoption while integrating AI agents into daily workflows.
What you'll do
- Define and execute the enterprise data strategy centered on commercial impact
- Establish Snowflake as the authoritative source of truth for all business entities
- Create a metric governance framework to resolve cross-functional definition disputes
- Build a data organization where AI agents are primary working tools
- Partner with Finance, Sales, and Product to identify leading indicators and risks
- Remain technically engaged by reviewing code, inspecting models, and prototyping solutions
- Treat datasets and dashboards as products with defined users and success measures
- Engineer data quality into the platform to reduce manual reconciliation needs
What you'll need
- 12+ years of experience in data engineering, analytics, or architecture roles
- 5+ years leading professional data teams, including managing managers
- Proven success transforming data functions in growing SaaS companies
- Deep expertise with Snowflake, dbt, Fivetran, and Sigma
- Strong understanding of dimensional modeling, semantic layers, and data contracts
- Experience integrating and governing data from Salesforce and core SaaS systems
- Personally built and shipped at least one production AI agent or agentic workflow
- Hands-on ability to write SQL, debug pipelines, and evaluate technical models
- Commercial fluency in SaaS metrics like ARR, churn, and unit economics
- Must have authorization to work in the US
