You will own engineering across products that automate dispute and fraud management for top-tier card issuers. The role includes leading forward deployed engineers who embed with clients to integrate AI agents into their infrastructure.
Your focus will be on scaling these agents across banks and fintechs while ensuring the underlying transaction enrichment API remains fast, accurate, and reliable. You will define how the team builds, evaluates, and delegates tasks to coding agents.
What you'll do
- Lead engineering for AI agents running banking workflows and the transaction enrichment platform
- Scale dispute agents across a growing number of bank and fintech clients
- Manage forward deployed engineers and ensure their work is reusable across clients
- Expand the engineering team and develop existing leads within the organization
- Maintain high availability and accuracy for the enrichment API and agent actions
- Represent engineering in client procurement, architecture sessions, and security reviews
- Define standards for building and evaluating agents, including accuracy measurement
- Determine how coding agents are used and verify their output quality
What you'll need
- At least 8 years of software engineering experience
- 3+ years leading teams shipping production software to enterprise clients
- Experience leading teams running AI or LLM systems in production
- Background in operating high-volume data APIs measured on accuracy and latency
- Experience in financial services, payments, or other regulated industries
- Technical depth to make architecture decisions across TypeScript, Python, and Go
- Familiarity with API-based, private cloud, and on-premise deployment models
- Proven track record of hiring, growing teams, and managing performance issues
- Comfortable leading architecture sessions directly with client engineers
- Strong ownership mindset with ability to define solutions independently
- Genuine curiosity about payments, disputes, or chargeback workflows
- Proficiency in English
