As VP of Product & Engineering, you will define the multi-year vision for Smalls' digital platform and customer experience. You will bridge business goals with technical execution, leading cross-functional teams to drive growth, retention, and revenue through optimized onsite flows and subscription models.
What you'll do
- Define multi-year digital product vision and executable roadmap
- Align technology investments with long-term financial goals
- Own customer experience across onsite, checkout, and subscription flows
- Drive revenue metrics including conversion, AOV, LTV, and retention
- Partner with Marketing on acquisition, retention, and reactivation strategies
- Set technical direction and ensure engineering quality and speed
- Build and mentor a cross-functional product and engineering organization
What you'll need
- 12+ years in product and technology leadership roles
- Experience scaling DTC subscription and traditional ecommerce businesses
- Deep understanding of modern DTC stack, including Shopify
- Proven track record of owning broad commercial outcomes and revenue
- Strong ability to balance data insights with intuitive decision-making
- Experience managing the intersection of product, brand, and growth
- Genuine interest in cats and the pet care community
