They are hiring a freelance Website Developer to implement approved designs into functional, maintainable websites. You will handle everything from building reusable components to testing, launching, and documenting sites for easy content updates.
What you'll do
- Implement responsive pages and reusable components from approved designs
- Structure content management systems for efficient non-developer updates
- Test functionality, accessibility, and performance across devices
- Define milestones, dependencies, and acceptance criteria for projects
- Document editing processes and handoff steps for stakeholders
- Maintain assigned sites within agreed support coverage windows
What you'll need
- At least three years of relevant website development experience
- Strong hands-on skills in Webflow or Wix Studio
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Experience with CMS architecture and responsive design principles
- Ability to scope work realistically and manage milestones
- Portfolio showing personally implemented sites and contributions
Nice to have
- Experience delivering websites for various brands
- Knowledge of e-commerce or membership integrations
- Familiarity with technical SEO and analytics implementation
- Background in accessible interface development
- Experience translating detailed designer layouts into code
