You will deliver workstation hardware and software support, focusing on Windows 10 and 11 environments. The position involves handling IMAC requests, imaging systems, and providing direct assistance to end users at the Tech Bar.
Strong interpersonal skills are essential as you interact with staff having varying levels of technical knowledge. You will manage ticketing systems, troubleshoot network issues, and support mobile device logistics.
What you'll do
- Provide hardware and software break-fix support for Windows workstations
- Execute IMAC tasks including installs, moves, adds, and changes
- Image PCs to support break-fix operations and standard configurations
- Manage asset recovery, tagging, and disposal per customer procedures
- Install approved software outside the standard base image
- Support printers and provide Client Center or Tech Bar assistance
- Update IT Service Management records and track tickets
- Package mobile devices for shipping and direct users to return drop boxes
What you'll need
- Effective interpersonal skills for interfacing with client staff
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Experience imaging and configuring PC systems
- Skills in common hardware break-fix and software installation
- Basic troubleshooting for network adapters, wireless, and VPN clients
- Experience supporting Windows 10 operating systems
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office installation and repair
- Experience using Help Desk ticketing systems
- Ability to support Android and iOS mobile devices
