Join Ema as an AI Resident to work on real production codebases solving enterprise customer problems. You will own features from design to launch, contributing to backend services, AI/ML agents, or infrastructure while receiving mentorship from senior engineers and founders.
What you'll do
- Ship real production code for enterprise customers
- Own work end-to-end from problem statement to launch
- Build AI Employees for UK and European enterprises
- Develop connectors, agent primitives, and APIs
- Improve agent quality through benchmarks and evals
- Optimize latency, uptime, and inference costs
- Implement PII detection and data residency compliance
What you'll need
- Strong engineering fundamentals in data structures and algorithms
- Proficiency in Python, Go, or similar languages
- Deep expertise in Backend, AI/ML, or Systems & Infra
- Habit of defining metrics before building features
- Clear communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
- Right to work in the UK for the residency duration
- Portfolio of built projects (GitHub, demo, or write-up)
Nice to have
- Experience with PyTorch or LLM systems
- Knowledge of Linux, containers, and cloud networking
- Background in service API design and data modeling
