Join the team behind Threat Protection Pro and the NordLynx protocol to help millions protect their online privacy. You will act as a bridge between development teams, ensuring secure software design and smooth communication throughout the product release cycle.
What you'll do
- Define secure implementation practices and ensure design security
- Coordinate security communication across technical product teams
- Plan and manage the development of internal security tools
- Create tasks for security reviews including SAST, DAST, and SCA
- Collaborate with product teams to assess changes early
- Ensure sufficient testing for mobile, desktop, and browser extensions
- Support internal and external security audits
- Design and deliver security awareness training
- Identify internal security gaps in products or organization
- Provide advice on product security direction and decisions
What you'll need
- Proven experience in mobile and desktop app security assessment
- Strong understanding of network models with focus on VPNs
- Experience defining test scopes and identifying remediation actions
- Knowledge of secure coding practices
- Strong problem-solving skills and sense of ownership
- Experience with security topics on Linux, Android, iOS, macOS, Windows
- Ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders
- Capable of making business decisions based on threat analysis
- Assertive yet able to compromise when necessary
