Titan develops specialized AI software for financial institutions, including small language models and AI bankers. As the company scales its customer base, this role owns the production systems that bank employees use daily.
You will work across AI Toolbelt and Product Engineering lanes, delivering reliable solutions for agent orchestration and retrieval pipelines. The team values practical engineering over cleverness, ensuring systems meet strict banking compliance and audit standards.
What you'll do
- Build agent orchestration frameworks for multi-step reasoning and tool use
- Develop RAG pipelines for embedding, chunking, and hybrid retrieval
- Create LLM integration layers for reliable and auditable inference workflows
- Implement evaluation infrastructure with behavioral contracts and baselines
- Maintain backend services and APIs meeting bank-tier uptime requirements
What you'll need
- 5+ years in software engineering with 2+ years in production AI systems
- Experience with LangChain, LangGraph, PydanticAI, AutoGen, or Semantic Kernel
- Proficiency in vector databases like Pinecone, Weaviate, Milvus, or FAISS
- Strong skills in REST APIs, async Python, and microservices architecture
- Knowledge of AI observability tools such as LangSmith, RAGAS, or Arize
Nice to have
- Prior experience in fintech, banking, or regulated industries
- Familiarity with graph databases like Neo4j, ArangoDB, or Dgraph
- Experience with multi-agent or planner-based AI architectures
- Background in multi-tenant SaaS with auditability requirements
