BJAK is expanding beyond its leading insurance platform in Southeast Asia to help users manage spending, saving, and investing. We are looking for a leader to build and scale a new AI-driven payments business from the ground up.
In this hands-on operating role, you will define the product roadmap, hire the team, and drive commercial growth. You will have end-to-end accountability for business results, moving quickly from strategy to execution.
What you'll do
- Own the P&L, business strategy, targets, and overall performance
- Identify customer needs and decide which products to build
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and design to launch features
- Hire team members, set goals, and manage performance
- Drive user growth, engagement, revenue, and profitability
- Establish partnerships and operations to scale the business
- Make rapid decisions and own execution from idea to result
What you'll need
- Proven track record building, launching, or scaling a business unit
- Experience owning P&L, revenue, or measurable business outcomes
- Strong product sense and commercial judgment
- Ability to work across product, engineering, and commercial functions
- Experience building and leading high-performing teams
- Hands-on approach comfortable with strategy and detailed execution
- Strong ownership and ability to operate with limited structure
