Join the Observability organization at ClickHouse to build systems behind internal observability and ClickStack Cloud. You will design, operate, and improve platforms that process hundreds of millions of events per second, turning operational insights into product enhancements.
What you'll do
- Design and operate distributed systems for high-scale telemetry ingestion and storage
- Own reliability, performance, capacity, and cost-efficiency of pipelines
- Participate in on-call rotation and resolve production incidents
- Build automation to eliminate repetitive operational tasks
- Identify architectural bottlenecks and shape the scaling roadmap
- Collaborate with product and infrastructure teams across the company
- Contribute to architecture reviews and improve engineering quality
What you'll need
- 5+ years building and operating production systems at scale
- Strong proficiency in Go programming language
- Experience building and operating services on Kubernetes
- Knowledge of infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform and Helm
- Production experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure
- Hands-on experience with OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, or Grafana
- Ability to debug unfamiliar distributed systems in production
Nice to have
- Experience with ClickHouse database
- Background in high-throughput ingestion or streaming systems
- Experience building multi-tenant cloud services
- Skill in optimizing infrastructure for performance and cost
- Proficiency in TypeScript
