You will design business-critical metrics and build clean, reusable SQL models that serve as source-of-truth datasets. By creating self-serve datasets and lightweight reporting, you enable teams to answer questions independently while ensuring data reliability through monitoring and reconciliation.
What you'll do
- Design and own definitions for business-critical metrics
- Build reusable SQL models for transformation layers
- Partner with stakeholders to clarify analytical needs
- Create self-serve datasets to reduce bottlenecks
- Implement data quality checks and monitoring
- Contribute to analytics naming and documentation standards
What you'll need
- 5–6 years in analytics or analytics engineering
- Advanced SQL modeling and optimization skills
- Ability to define clear metrics for decisions
- Strong communication with non-technical partners
- Experience with cloud data warehouses like Snowflake
- Proficiency with BI tools such as Tableau or Looker
Nice to have
- Experience with DBT or similar transformation tools
- Familiarity with experimentation and retention analysis
- Basic Python skills for data analysis
- Knowledge of data quality monitoring tooling
