You will design business data models and translate requirements into technical specifications for data streams, integrations, and warehouses. The role requires defining architecture frameworks, standards, and principles while managing data flows across the organization.
You will coach and mentor a team of data engineers, analysts, and ML engineers on best practices. The position focuses on enabling AI-augmented development and ensuring projects are structured for effective coding agent operation.
What you'll do
- Design business data models based on discovered processes and analysis
- Set standards for AI-augmented development practices and tooling
- Translate business requirements into technical design specifications
- Develop work estimates for Data Warehouse and Data Lake deliverables
- Coach and mentor data engineers, analysts, and ML Engineers
- Define data architecture framework, standards, and principles
- Create reference architecture patterns for system improvement
- Define data flows and manage transitions across the organization
What you'll need
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Math, Economics, or Statistics
- Over ten years of work experience in the data analytics space
- Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools like Cursor
- Experience deploying solutions in large-scale high-performing databases
- Expertise in data management, integration, and transformation technologies
- Ability to communicate complex subjects to executive leaders
- Experience evaluating lift and shift versus re-model trade-offs
Nice to have
- Previous experience in the consulting space
- Passion for exploring and solving diverse problems
- Desire to learn and assimilate technical information quickly
