Join the Product Design team at WorkOS to build modern developer tools for authentication and identity. You will prototype directly in code, validate ideas with customers, and ship high-quality experiences across the Dashboard and Admin Portal.
This role requires balancing design craft with technical implementation. You will contribute to the internal design system and help define how the company builds products using AI-first workflows.
What you'll do
- Build production-quality components and interactions for WorkOS products
- Prototype concepts and experiment with new interaction patterns
- Improve performance, accessibility, and state management in the design system
- Test ideas directly with customers alongside product teams
- Share work in progress early to accelerate decision making
- Enhance company build processes through design system contributions
What you'll need
- Strong eye for design details and history of shipping polished products
- Ability to articulate design decisions and weigh tradeoffs
- Comfortable handling edge cases, error states, and technical constraints
- Equally proficient in coding and design tools like Figma
- Experience working in small, high-agency, fast-paced teams
- Proficient in AI-first workflows for high-quality output
Nice to have
- Experience with TypeScript, React, and Radix
- Background in developer tools or enterprise software
- Experience with technical products
