Lead product strategy for SandboxAQ’s SAIGE team, driving quantitative AI solutions in financial services and insurance. You will own the roadmap for risk modeling and portfolio analytics while partnering with engineering and research teams.
The role involves rapid prototyping and discovering new use cases from scratch. You will translate complex customer needs into viable AI products, working in a fast-paced environment that values experimentation and impact.
What you'll do
- Own product vision and roadmap for finance and risk modeling portfolios
- Partner with customers to understand workflows and decision processes
- Lead rapid prototyping and discovery for new AI use cases
- Define success metrics and validation strategies for models
- Serve as trusted partner to senior stakeholders like CROs and actuaries
- Translate technical details into business value for clients
- Prioritize high-impact opportunities amidst ambiguity
What you'll need
- 10+ years of product management experience in B2B or platform products
- Senior or director-level experience with significant scope
- Deep expertise in financial services or insurance risk modeling
- Experience building AI or ML products with technical teams
- Proven track record in 0-to-1 product discovery and incubation
- Strong ability to prioritize and make trade-offs without rigid structure
- Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
Nice to have
- Experience with foundational models, LLMs, or agentic systems
- Hands-on knowledge of risk engines or portfolio analytics platforms
- Background in both high-growth startups and large complex organizations
- Degree in computer science, mathematics, physics, or finance
