You will define the long-term roadmap for ClickHouse Cloud, focusing on cloud-native database capabilities like multi-region replication and fault tolerance. Working closely with engineering leaders, you will balance platform investments with customer needs while mentoring other product managers.
What you'll do
- Define multi-year product strategy for ClickHouse Cloud capabilities
- Partner with engineering leadership to prioritize core engine investments
- Mentor product managers to drive prioritization and resolve dependencies
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, and support for product launches
- Balance long-term platform goals with near-term business priorities
- Represent the company at industry events and with strategic customers
What you'll need
- 10+ years of product management experience in cloud or data sectors
- Strong understanding of distributed systems and cloud-native architectures
- Ability to influence direction across multiple engineering teams
- Proficiency in SQL, query execution, and database performance optimization
- Experience with databases like ClickHouse, PostgreSQL, or Snowflake
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for all audiences
Nice to have
- Experience contributing to open-source projects
- Background in high-growth startup environments
- Familiarity with data lakes, ETL pipelines, and CDC
