Join Preply as an Engineering Manager within either the Growth or Monetization tribe. You will shape the strategy and execution for products that impact millions of learners, overseeing teams that build scalable applications using Python and Django.

What you'll do
- Lead and grow engineering teams, fostering a culture of ownership and technical excellence.
- Coach engineers through regular feedback, mentorship, and career development plans.
- Define long-term technical vision and strategy aligned with company objectives.
- Partner with Product, Data, and Design to prioritize high-impact opportunities.
- Own execution and delivery, balancing speed, quality, and system reliability.
- Guide system design, architectural decisions, and resolve technical obstacles.
- Drive continuous improvements in code quality, operational excellence, and processes.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to align on priorities, strategy, and business outcomes.
What you'll need
- 3-5+ years of experience building, leading, and scaling development teams.
- Strong people-centric approach with skills in team building and psychological safety.
- Ability to provide actionable feedback and develop engineers through coaching.
- Strong technical judgment and systems thinking for architectural discussions.
- Comfortable evaluating technical trade-offs and championing best practices.
- Experience partnering with Product, Design, and Data to drive measurable outcomes.
- Track record of motivating teams to achieve ambitious, business-focused goals.
- Demonstrates ethical leadership through empathy, transparency, and accountability.
