Join the Platform team at Juniper Square to develop core services such as identity management, search, and API infrastructure. You will create tools and frameworks that enhance the developer experience across the software lifecycle while supporting rapid scaling.
What you'll do
- Translate product vision into code with cross-functional teams
- Implement modern architectural patterns for scalability
- Optimize database queries and monitor frontend performance
- Build internal tools to improve engineer efficiency
- Conduct code reviews and produce thoroughly tested code
- Provide documentation and support to product teams
What you'll need
- 6-10 years building large-scale production systems
- Expertise in Python and frameworks like FastAPI or Django
- Strong SQL schema design and query optimization skills
- Experience with AWS, Azure, GCP, Docker, and Kubernetes
- Proficiency in CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
Nice to have
- Experience building tools for other developers
- Knowledge of GenAI, LLMs, and RAG pipelines
- Experience decomposing monoliths into microservices
- Familiarity with GraphQL and semantic search
- Ability to evaluate AI-generated code for errors
