You will manage a team of AI Engineers while remaining hands-on with technical strategy, architecture, and prototyping. The team builds the intelligence layer for Procurify’s platform, leveraging generative AI and machine learning to automate workflows and optimize business spend.
Collaboration with Product, Design, and Security teams is essential to define AI strategy and deliver high-impact products. You will balance people leadership with technical contribution, ensuring the team delivers robust, scalable AI solutions.
What you'll do
- Manage and mentor AI Engineers, fostering career growth and a high-performance culture
- Participate in architecture reviews, technical design, and critical implementation efforts
- Define success metrics and track progress for AI-powered product delivery
- Shape technical strategy for LLM applications, RAG systems, and agentic workflows
- Guide the deployment and operation of AI services, including monitoring and evaluation
- Balance experimentation, technical debt reduction, and product delivery
- Collaborate with Security, Platform, and Product teams to ensure compliant AI solutions
What you'll need
- 8+ years of software engineering experience
- 3+ years leading software engineering teams
- 3-5+ years building and deploying AI products in production
- Hands-on experience with LLM apps, RAG systems, and agentic AI workflows
- Proficiency with Python, Azure OpenAI or AWS Bedrock, and Kubernetes
- Experience with vector databases and orchestration frameworks like LangChain
- Ability to architect and scale distributed systems and AI platforms
- Strong communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
Nice to have
- Background in FinTech or B2B SaaS environments
- Knowledge of agile development, CI/CD, and test automation
- Experience with LLMOps, model governance, and AI developer tooling
- Familiarity with durable async programming and intent detection
